Late Night, Early Wake Up

All I want to say about last night's disappointing loss to the Angels is that our pitching and defense once again gave us a great opportunity for a W. The bats just couldn't break through although we didn't hit terribly. I hope the boys bounce back this evening with some Christmas lights for the tree.

I am currently in a daze from staying up until 1 for that depressing finish to the ball game. This week could be a long sleepless week with another 10 pm start tonight and wild events all weekend, including our first ever NFL Draft Happy Hour Game. Hopefully I will be able to blog live from that extraordinary event.

** EXTRA BASE STUDY**

O Extra base hits in inning = run(s) scored 11% of time
1 or more Extra base hits in inning = run(s) scored 64% of time

**Leadoff Batter Study**

When Leadoff Batter of the inning reaches, run(s) are scored 46% of the time.
When first baserunner is with 1 out, run(s) are scored 39% of the time.
When first baserunner is with 2 outs, run(s)are scored 19% of the time.

The "Leadoff Batter" study is starting to shape up how I anticipated but it is still amazing to me how little teams score when not getting an extra base hit.

Another late night of baseball this evening. Go Tigers! JV is on the hill. Hopefully he has the same stuff he had last outing. Holla!

Onions!
