And then there were 3... TCU flexed it's frog like muscles and defeated Ohio State 35-11. TCU and Oregon will now face off to see who will take on Texas for the national championship.
On a side note, there are a few deluxe college hoops games today: DePaul v. St. Joseph's and Tennessee v. Purdue in Puerto Rico, and Arizona v. Wisconsin in Maui (midnight game for those of you hollerin out at the club).
I will be listening to the Wings game as they attempt to give the predators the business in Nashville. Studying will also be in full force this evening.
Put the baby to bed. Holla!

Rose Bowl
First off congratulations to the Ohio State Buckeyes for earning a BCS bowl bid, most likely to the Rose Bowl. This year's bowl appearance make it 7 BCS bowls in 9 years in the Jim Tressel era. That is absolutely amazing.
On the subject of college football, both Ohio State and TCU advanced this week in the loser's bracket of the 2009 mythical national championship tournament. The two teams face off this week in the only game being played. I may be classified as a "homer" but Go Bucks!
I'm currently working on two projects; Tabbie players' TB/out rates from the past few seasons and my college basketball predictability equation. More updates should follow on both.
For those of you who are upset about the Tabbies putting players on the trading block just remember Dave Dombrowski has done this every year since arriving in Detroit. In order to compete in baseball teams must be flexible with their rosters and this means if the right deal is offered we must take it in order to better the organization.
Go Tabs!!! I'm looking forward to Tigerfest 2010 and then spring training in beautiful Lakeland, Florida. Memorial Bluebird will once again be a hotspot for knees on bows and the turtle to get to business. Holla!
Swag it up.
